Located in a beautiful mountain setting in Colorado, Foundry takes a holistic approach to treating addiction. Our programs are designed to treat the entire person, meeting their physical, mental, and spiritual needs.
We're looking forward to speaking with you.
When you call Foundry Steamboat Treatment Center, you will speak with an experienced professional who will listen to the issues you, a loved one, or a patient are experiencing and help determine if this program is right for you. If your needs require a different level or type of care, or if another specialized provider would better meet your needs, we will do our best to refer you to an appropriate resource.
Meet the Foundry Steamboat Admissions team.
Patrick McMillen is a man who has taken a long and winding path to where he is today. To any of his family and friends who were there during his last days of his active drug and alcohol abuse, it would have been fair to assume that he was not going to find his way to sobriety. Patrick will tell anyone who will listen that it is by the grace of God that he is even alive today, let alone that he is in a position to appreciate a life dedicated to the recovery of his mind, body and spirit.
Several in-patient treatment centers, countless trips to detox, and the legal troubles that are part and parcel of that lifestyle left little doubt as to Patrick’s ever-deepening journey into the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction.
Throughout it all there were people who would not give up, who saw what Patrick couldn’t see, that he was a good and decent man who needed help. It is in the spirit of those people who would not give up on him that Patrick now strives to live a life of service to the God of his understanding, and to the people that he comes in contact with each day.
Having spent over 26 years interacting with people of all stripes in and around recovery, Patrick understands that anyone among us who is afflicted with the diseases of alcoholism and addiction can experience a life in recovery, and that they often need a little help to begin their journey.
Alex is a Houston native with a love for the mountains. Sports injuries in early life led him down a road of drug and alcohol use. After years of trial and error, Alex found himself as a client at the Foundry in 2017 where he thrived. After completing his stay in treatment he decided to make Steamboat home. He jumped at the opportunity to join the amazing staff at Foundry. Alex’s personal experience, and calm ability to communicate with people makes him a great fit for admissions coordinator. He looks forward to growing within this company, and expanding his knowledge in the recovery field. Outside of work Alex is an avid skier, golfer, and sports fan.
